Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to work on the product photography for Asda's 2023 comparison campaign. For this project, I photographed various food and household items in a studio setting. Using my product photography skills, I captured appealing pack shots that aligned with the campaign's visual style.
In addition to packaging, I also worked with a food stylist to produce mouthwatering shots of the products themselves. This required working carefully with the lighting and camera angles to make the food look as vibrant and enticing as possible.
Throughout the shoot, I maintained constant online communication with the agency to review and approve shots on the spot. We worked efficiently to edit a provisional final version of the images within the same week as the photography session due to the fast-approaching campaign deadline. It was great to collaborate with another editor on putting these images together for the client in such a short timeframe.
This project allowed me to sharpen my skills in product photography and remote agency collaboration. I'm always seeking new challenges and opportunities like this to continue growing in my craft.
Deliverables:
- JPG files of both the pack short and the product of both brands in green and white background.
